Course Description: Introduces major concepts of cell biology, including cell physiology and structure; molecular biology; genetics; and evolution. Course is a prerequisite for BIOL 102 and professional health-science programs. Format includes laboratory work. Strongly recommended: CHEM 100, CHEM 101, or BASCI 098; or one year of high-school chemistry.
